Let me tell you something about my name, my real name is Joyce Herrin Reintegrado. My first name was either supposed to be Jennifer or Joy, if you notice all the names start with J, my dad believed that if your name starts with J, you’ll be lucky. My parents decided to scratch out Jennifer because it was too long, they liked Joy because of the song ‘Joy to the World’. They decided to name me Joyce so I wouldn’t be associated with the song too much. So, that’s the history behind my name.:) If you’re wondering where I got Jimenez, well the story is quite funny. My manager wanted a double J so my name would be catchy and my initials would be JJ. What she did was ask a phone book opened it up to J and there you have it, Joyce Jimenez.

About 80 percent (!!!) of my new movie-my first with Direk Chito Rono an my first in more than 4 yrs, entitled 'CAREGIVER,' is set in London (!!!).

Dapat punta pa kmi sa Prague ksi mas mura dun, dadayain dapat namin some scenes pero all of the 80 percent of our scenes are talagang set in London lang.

Now may problema pa pag nag-Prague kami, so outskirts of London n lang. Sayang din 'cause I wanted to see Prague talaga since I've never been there!

Seven Days

"Seven Days" was all she wrote, a kind of ultimatum note, she gave to me.

Sting wrote Seven Days in a jazzy 5/4 meter, coyly skipping two weekend beats. But what about us, what's our texting time signature? When do we text?

Four weeks of recent data revealed that weekdays hum to a similar beat: A slow crescendo to primetime, between 7 and 11 pm, when most content are downloaded.

Saturdays and Sundays are more offbeat, when weekday worriers morph into wireless wanderers. No wonder weekend downloads are 20% higher than on weekdays.

Saturdays are more balanced, with mounds of activity around 2 pm and 5 pm, followed by a chorus of downloads between 7 and 11 pm.

Sundays are laid back, with a lazy morning rise, short surge after lunch, long siesta, then surprises with a spike after 9pm--users downloading with a vengeance, after church and family hours of textual repression.

But what do people download and when? Do we wake up cheery and look for shiny, happy polytones? Do we get all juiced late at night and scour for saucy adult MMS? And if the ultimatum note even gets a reply, when?

The patterns are in the data drizzle.

It's a big enough umbrella, but it's always me that ends up getting wet.
